On my daily draw this morning the Knight of Cups turned up. I thought “savor each moment as it passes.” A beautiful message apropos of the day.
Then, as I put the card back into the deck, I noticed the Death card on the bottom, and the striking similarities of these two cards in the RWS rendering.
Life in this world is change. Change, change, change. Coming. Going. Gone. All things must pass.
The trick is to savor each moment in this life of changes, and to cling to the still, eternal, unchanging essence behind the veil of material reality.
