This is the third Wands card over the past four days, keeping the focus on spirit and passion.
Pages represent new endeavors or potential that still needs development. This Page, in particular, stands for enthusiasm and boldness in a creative endeavor. For me, there is also an element of confidence, and being more occupied with one’s own plans and abilities than with surrounding events and circumstances. The Page’s energy comes from wholeheartedness.
This card can also represent a messenger of some sort, or the introduction of a youngster (or enthusiastic oldster) as partner to a project.
I first pulled this card in my daily draw of April 17th, 2019. As I reviewed my notes from that day, it occurred to me how much I have shaped my life in accordance with them over the past eleven months.
Last evening I looked back at my notes for these first 60 days of my Tarot journey. What kept popping up is the need to organize my energies around a project that is important to me, perhaps a creative pursuit. I think that this card is another prompt to do that. I don’t know yet whether this will be a writing project, poetry, new media stuff, music, or political work. I may never make a magnum opus, but I feel the need to dive in to something that gives me joy, and perhaps gives my life more meaning.
As it turns out, I’ve pursued “all of the above.” This website project is certainly a major preoccupation for me at the moment, and I continue to work on occasional Facebook live sessions (both music and “philosophizing”) and other creative activities. I definitely feel much more alive than I did before I began my Tarot journey last year, and am finding more joy and meaning in my life.
What is your passion? Where can you dive in with enthusiasm today?
