More Practice
The Page of Wands turned up one week ago as well. At that time, appearing after the Page of Coins the day before, I took it to represent the beginning of plans coming into place for our first community kirtan gathering.
We received a harmonium from India yesterday. As I was playing around with it last evening, it struck me that there may be a steeper learning curve with the instrument than I had reckoned.
Yesterday, my daughter was also working on a creative project that involves a wide set of pretty highly specific skills, and it didn’t come together quite as she had hoped.
I think the message of this Page, for us at this time, is that creative potential must be nurtured by effort.
Most things worth doing take some measure of practice in order to do them really well. Do the work, day in and day out, and eventually the practice may ripen into something singular and beautiful.
Here are some earlier posts about the Page of Wands.
