Beginner’s Mind
The Page of Swords has a pure heart and inquisitive mind. It reflects the spirit of exuberant inquiry and discovery. Playful and curious, the Page is the intrepid sleuth with the razor sharp intellect. The message of the card is “let’s explore.”
There is something a bit hesitant in the Page’s poise, with the hand on the scabbard ready to sheath the blade. There’s also something a bit off balance in terms of whether to engage or to remain a detached observer.
This Page has always brought my daughter to mind. So many books. So little time. 🙂
