Gather Around the Fire
The Four of Wands is the card of stability and celebration of kindred spirits. It can be a harbinger of happy family life, or reflect a time of revelry in community.
It turned up this morning as the United States Congress convenes to confirm the election of Joe Biden, and as we learn that Georgia has elected its first black U.S. Senator (and the Democrats are now on the verge of a majority in the Senate).
I am not a Democrat, and I detest their fealty to the interests of Wall Street and the corporations. But like so many others, I cannot help breathing at least a little sigh of relief at the departure of the nightmare that has been in office these last four years.
Perhaps a celebration is due.
