When we dance angels will run and hide their wings.
This lyric came to mind this morning when I thought about the movement of the wheel, and the dance of life. I have taken it to mean that as humans, we experience things that the angels cannot. All of the changes of our lives would seem almost incomprehensible to an unchanging, immortal, eternal, spiritual being.
Which is, I think, why we are here. We experience pleasures, and pain, and the warmth of human touch. We dance.
And the angels envy us.
