The Little White Book for the Tarot of the Cloisters described The Tower as disaster, bringing enlightenment after it, and a chance to start fresh.
Notes on the Tarot Cards
Although I encourage the reader to explore the cards and come up with your own keywords, meanings and associations, here are some of my own ideas and notes.
The Lovers
This card appears, on first glance, to be a fairly simple and straightforward depiction of two lovers, receiving the blessings of an angel at a wedding.
Daily Draw | Ten of Staves 091920
The Ten of Staves (or Wands) represents the completion of a cycle or process of some sort, having to do with spirit or passion. It may be the culmination of a project, or the end of a season of spiritual practice or development.
Daily Draw | The Chariot 091820
This is the fourth Major that has turned up in a row, and the second appearance of The Chariot in eight days. It is a reminder to hang on to the reigns, and keep working to get better – a little bit better every day.
The Wheel of Fortune
When The Wheel of Fortune turns up for me, it’s a reminder to accept the ups and downs with grace, and to do my best to look to the center, and to build the habit of looking to it, through daily spiritual practice and reflection.
