The Six of Wands is the card of winning through working together. It represents achievement as a result of joining together against adversity with others who share the same objective.
This card comes as the fourth in a row from the suit of Wands, and carries on in the spirit of the Chariot which preceded them. Where the Chariot represents the ultimate victory achieved via mastery, this six represents a more temporal achievement (a single battle or milestone) as a result of alliance.
With so many Wands in a string, spiritual and creative pursuits are front and center this week. For me, personally, I’m taking advantage of several opportunities to learn from masters in creative fields that interest me. Yesterday I participated in Vincent Pitisci’s first online Tarot gathering, and this evening I begin a six week course of study on Kirtan with Krishna Das.
It seems to me that the trick of life is to try to remember why we came here in the first place, to do our best to live, love and learn – and then leave a beautiful legacy as we return home victorious.
