This card depicts a character surrounded and practically hemmed in by the eight swords.
The Eight of Swords is a visual representation of the perceptive trap. We are imprisoned by a blindfold of our own choosing.
The Eight of Pentacles (or Coins), for me, represents the notion of “practice makes perfect.” We repeat our practice each day, and slowly, over time, we are able to do a task with ease.
One breath at a time, we learn to truly breathe.
The Eight of Cups is a card about how we relate to the groups in our lives, and the people in those groups.
